Our New Home

We are settling in to our new life in San Diego! Here are a few pics from the new apartment - we have quite the view!


We can see the city on one side, and the bay out the front.

The airport is also visible from the windows, and the planes fly right overhead.

The sunsets are pretty amazing too!!

Honeymooners

We cruised with Royal Carribean to the Florida Keys, Cozumel, and Beliz City. The ship we were on is in the first picture. Greg is standing on the boat deck in front of the port in Key West. We got off the boat that day and rented beach cruisers and rode around town. In Cozumel, we went snorkeling; Greg took a few pictures of the marine life. It was a fun experience for both of us! In Belize, we had to take a smaller boat to the shore (pic). The sunset is a view from the balcony of our room!

The Wedding!!

Photos are finally available!! These have been sent to me by friends, the official ones aren't quite ready. Please enjoy!

My arrival to the house by limo, which was a surprise for Greg...

My dad walked me up the sidewalk to meet Greg. The chairs were initially planned to be set up in the yard for guests, but the rain was threatening so everyone was up on the porch!

After the ceremony, we danced...

Cut and ate cake...

which was very good, Greg and I enjoyed it emmensely!!

And took many photos with the photographer.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and are thankful our close friends and family shared this special occasion with us!

We are pleased to announce the date of our wedding - August 2, 2009!

Location:

We will be having a small ceremony and reception with family and close friends at The Ranson House in Huntersville, NC.

Accomodations:

A block of rooms for the JonesPetty wedding are available at the Residence Inn, Lake Norman for those traveling in from out of town. Studio, single and double suites are available; all rooms come with a queen-sized pullout couch. Guests are welcome to arrive Friday, July 31 and stay through Monday, August 3. Please call (704) 584-0000 to make arrangements.
